Using your CanKeg with a full size CO2 canister

A CanKeg solution for home brewers

Portability is one of the main reasons the CanKeg system is so fantastic, but unless your out camping or at a fancy dinner party then maybe you don't want to use up your 16g CO2 Catrtridges.

We have the best prices anywhere on them but if your a home brewer it sure would be nice to use that 10 lb tank you use for force carbonating, well now you can!

We needed it, so now were sharing it

We do a lot of testing of the Pro Tap Kit, including pressure testing every regulator we sell. So we needed a way to use a full size CO2 tank, here is what we came up with and now offer the pieces in the store. If the demand is there for this system we will offer it as a discounted bundle. We wanted to make sure it worked with the regular you already own with the least amount of re configuring.

How it's done

The parts you need are as follows:

• Adapter for full size CO2 tank to mini regulator
• Adapter for quick connect male to 1/4" barb
• Hose to length you like (silicone hose without clamps will work fine for serving pressures, NOT FOR FORCE CARBONATING)
• Grey barbed quick connect
