Hey, it's Kevin (and Dallis). We bought various kegs and parts from cankeg over the last few weeks. 
We've already ran a few brews through them (a mead, two beers, and two ciders). It's working really well, and we are very happy about our purchase. 
Attached are a few pictures of an extract session SMaSH we brewed that we thought you'd like to know about. 
The recipe: 
  • 4L water
  • 0.2 oz Magnum hops @60
  • 1/2 tsp yeast nutrient @5
  • 1lb Briess Amber DME 
  • US05 
  • Fermented 1 week 
  • Primed in keg with 1.2oz of honey for 2 weeks. 
  • served sideways in fridge using a 7inch diptube and the barbed hose-end weight (got almost all, see pics). Regulator set at 4psi, picnic tap. Came out relatively clear and all sediment was left behind due to the shortened dip tube length 
I'm sure a current/future customer would love to know that the kegs serve very well on their side (pretty clear beer for a 3 week brew!). Plus, a super easy and tasty recipe to get decent beer in a short amount of time.
